Licensed gas fitting across Sydney, covering appliance installation, leak detection and compliance certificates, all carried out safely to Australian Standards.
Gas is one of the most tightly regulated areas of plumbing for good reason. In NSW, almost all gas work has to be done by a licensed gas fitter, and a gas leak that goes unnoticed can be far more dangerous than a water leak. We are licensed to install, alter, repair and test gas installations and appliances, and every job is carried out to AS/NZS 5601, the national gas installation standard.
That covers connecting and installing appliances like cooktops, ovens, heaters and gas hot water, running new gas lines and bayonet points, and finding and repairing leaks with proper electronic detection and pressure testing. When the work is done we issue a Certificate of Compliance and fix a compliance plate at the installation, then lodge the certificate with Building Commission NSW. That paperwork protects you for insurance, for safety, and for the day you sell the property.

Unlicensed gas work is illegal, voids insurance and puts people at risk, so this is not an area to cut corners.
This service covers new gas installations, alterations to existing systems, appliance connections and leak detection and repair, for both natural gas and LPG. We work on homes, strata units and commercial sites, and we handle the compliance side so you are left with the certificate you need.

Here is what we handle under gas fitting.
If you smell gas, leave the property, ventilate if it is safe to do so, and call your gas network's emergency line before anything else. Once the supply is isolated, we can find the source and repair it properly. For everything else, from a new cooktop to a full gas line, you get licensed work and the certificate to prove it.
