Pride Plumbing NSW completed the plumbing on this full bathroom renovation in Caringbah South. The finished room pairs a freestanding tub set against a picture window with a walk-in shower, a wall-hung toilet and a twin-basin vanity.
Every tap in the room is wall-mounted or floor-mounted, from the in-wall shower mixer to the floor-standing bath filler and the wall-mounted basin mixers. That look only works when the rough-in is set out exactly right behind the tiles, so the planning before fit-off was where most of the work went.

The brief was a clean, tile-led bathroom with no visible pipework, which puts all the pressure on the rough-in stage. We set out the in-wall mixers, the concealed cistern, the wall outlets for the basins and the floor penetration for the bath filler before the walls and floor were tiled, working off the fixture positions so everything landed in the right spot to the millimetre.
The shower runs to a linear strip drain, which needs the floor fall set correctly so it drains to the channel rather than pooling. Once the room was tiled, we came back for the fit-off: hanging the toilet, mounting the basin mixers, standing the bath filler and fitting the shower. The result is a bathroom where the fixtures do the talking and none of the plumbing shows.
